To unlock the Keeping Old Traditions quest, you need to follow these steps:

First, travel to the Dry Steppes Zone. The closest waypoints you can use for fast travel are Jirandai and Qara Yisu
Navigate to the Lonely Offering statue in the Valley of Strayed area. You can find this statue in the area marked in a red circle on the map.

Lonely Offering is a book laying on the ground at the marked location. Interacting with it will bring up the message, “Though timeworn, you endure. Before your colorful kin, I say: Yes, I keep our traditions!”

Interact with Lonely Offering and you will be prompted to prove you are keeping the old traditions.

Once you have the quest unlocked, you need to do the following to complete it.
Firstly, you will have to equip the “Yes” emote in your emote wheel.
To equip the emote, press E if you’re on a keyboard or Up if you are on a controller.
Select the “Customize” option.
You will find an emote labeled “Yes” in the list of available emotes, simply assign that to your active emote wheel.
After that, navigate to the statue located a little west of your position.
Once you are in front of the statue, use the “Yes” emote and a hidden chest will appear.
Interact with the beast and you will get 1,120 gold, 3,992 experience, and Renown.

Possible Quest Bug 

There is a reported bug by some players stating that they can’t access the quest at certain periods. In our experience of playing through the quest, we encountered no such bugs. However, if you can’t start the quest, make sure you fulfill one of the following requirements.
