With the announcement of Diablo 4’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, we’ve gotten our first, early look at Mercenaries. Similar to Followers in Diablo 3, players will be able to enlist Mercenaries who will follow them around and assist in a number of ways.
Judging by this first image alone, it appears the Mercenaries will fall into one of four different archetypes. Each will have unique abilities and skill trees that will develop as these powerful allies progress alongside you.
