In a surprise twist, Blizzard has announced that Conduit Shrines will be disabled, removing their ability to spawn with the launch of Diablo 4 Season 8. Conduit Shrines were often hated by the community, citing issues with low damage, poor mobility, bad attack speed, the inability to cancel the effect, and overall clunky gameplay.
Blizzard has also revealed that Conduit Shrines will be reworked in the future, although no timeline was given.
